He has handled thousands of cases and taken a wide range of them to jury trial, from driving while intoxicated to murder, and has been called to testify in court as an expert witness. He has spoken to groups ranging from Mexican legal officials to college students, has given numerous media interviews, and has appeared on television and radio. Before he practiced law he was a pit trader in the Chicago commodities markets, trading futures and options by open outcry on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and the Chicago Board Options Exchange. He is also chief executive of Wyatt International Properties. He holds a Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University, a double Master of Business Administration from Loyola University Chicago, and a Bachelor of Science from Illinois State University.
